Being a novice at Moodle and mobile, I am not able to see the Frontpage I created when logged in as a user.

Does Moodle Mobile support the Essentials Theme?

AFAIK the moodle mobile app ignores your site's theme. You can create a separate CSS file, which the app will pick up - I did this so the key colours on the app change to match the key colours of our main theme.
