Hi,

For, poodll recording type question, I increased mic gain and recording works in chrome.

But in firefox, recording works only if check off and check on back "reduce echo".

Please guide.

Ps: Hi Justin : Sorry to be bothering but i hope you can help me out this time too.

Also, Can you inform the per-requisite browser plugins needed for poodll recording type question ?

For some users, it shows a blank "plugin needed to be installed" message.

Regards.

Users just need Adobe Flash version 10 for audio recording.

Try this page from Firefox:

http://www.onlinemictest.com/

Is the situation the same (ie you need to turn on and off "reduce echo")?

I tested on the given site. The "line" moves without turning on and off the echo.

Ps: On Chrome there is a separate popup for "Allowing microphone and camera" that comes up once on the given site and also for the poodll recording type question. On chrome, after clicking allow on this popup a red symbol flashes on the title of the browser all the while.

On firefox this popup does not come up either for the given site or for poodll recording.

( This popup is in addition to the allow popup that comes up allowing audio from the site. I hope i am clear. )

OK. There must be something going on with the PoodLL recorder(s).

It might be related to the way we set the default camera and settings, from the filter settings. It might be that we are setting a value to the volume/gain that is actually setting it to 0. Or something like that.

Anyway I will look at it, but it won't be right away.
