I had a couple of small issues when upgrading to 2.9.
I set up a new course with the format and when I tried to add an image for the section, I got a permission error. It seems that the editimage.php file was set to 666 and the server was demanding 755. I changed this and it worked fine. This also occurred with moving the general section into the grid. I've no idea if this is a general problem, or just my server playing funny, but I thought you might like to know.
Also, is there some way to hide the General section when you access a course section? I tend to use the General section as a welcome page, but it then takes up screen space once the user gets down to work.

File permissions should be a server issue, not a plugin one

Normally, yes, but it's interesting that the older version of the plugin worked as it was installed without modification. This problem only appeared after an update. It seems as if the permissions have been changed during the update process which would make it a Moodle/plugin issue? This doesn't happen with all plugins (though I had a similar issue with the Progress Bar)
As far as I'm aware, there haven't been any changes to the server config. I can't remember whether I had this problem with m2.8, or whether it was only since m2.9. I believe I had the same problem with the Progress Bar in 2.8, but it may have been 2.9.
It's no big deal - it just seems a bit strange.

Problème : lorsque je veux éditer l'image d'une section en cliquant sur le lien "modifier" le serveur m'affiche :
Internal Server Error

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
