hi, Juan:

   I am also developing Moodle Mobile app by PhoneGap now. Could you please let me know why you introduce some changes related to locales management for MM2?

  I would also like to know when MM2 will be formally released? My development project is supposed to be completed in July. Do you suggest that I should also wait for MM2 to be released?

we will be releasing Moodle Mobile 2 definitively before the last week of this month.

You can start working with Moodle Mobile 2 code base if you want, the developer docs is already updated:
