Hello,
I'm using a orangewhite theme with some different colours and changing a bit the header and footer, but something strange is happenning. The lessons font size and face are ok in Firefox, but in IExplorer are different of what I set. I just don't understand what can be .
I also would like to thank Urs Hunkler, the orangewhite theme is a beautiful work!
Could somebody helpme on this issue?

thank's for your good advice. I will take in account for the next css editing. About my question, the problem "solved" when I linked my theme to the parent theme orangewhite.

I also get this different size of the cells in IExplorer. I looked in styles-fonts, layout and colour, but didn't find why this table is like this in IExplorer.
If somebody have any idea...

The bigger calendar font must be set by your theme. I checked with IE on http://demo.moodle.com/ and the calendar looks ok.
You can log in the demo site and change the font to check against a standard installation.
Did you change the CSS for ".calendar-controls" or for the "a" tag?
