Had one of our Moodle advocates make this suggestion:
When first entering a course scroll to the current section. If topics format and a current section is selected, scroll there. If weeks, scroll to the current week.
Excellent idea, Bob. Voted for the improvement in Moodle Tracker. Perhaps this improvement can be supplemented by a button "Jump to current section" in the general section of a course.
