Scroll Problem

Hi guys,

If I launch the app in portrait the scrolling works properly. As soon as the device is rotated to landscape the scrolling have problem.

Once you scroll down a bit the scrolling is stopped and you need to scroll again.

I understood that the scrolling stops once the app "scrolls" the px of the portait height.

Did you have noticed the same problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Claudio,

are you having this problem in both iOs and Android or only in one of those platforms?

I tryed the official app only on iOS. I'm sorry but I can confirm if the issue is presented in android as well

Thanks, Claudio

Hi,

reviewing your post again you are right, scrolls problems are something we are aware of.

The Moodle Mobile 2.0 version (to be released end June) will solve this problem since we are switching to a new framework that will take care of this things.

Sorry for not being able to offer a solution in the meantime

Cheers, Juan

Hi Juan,

thanks a lot.

Do you think that could be possible to:

- enable the phone to launch and use the app only in portrait mode?

- enable the tablet to launch and use the app only in landscape mode?

Thanks in advance,

Claudio

Hi,

I'm not sure if we want to force that, the app is HTML5 based and these things are complicated, in any case, I'll talk about it in the next mobile meeting
