Hello All,
I am running Moodle in a University environment. Our SysAdmin is very concerned with our security so he runs PHP in safe mode.
My question is: Is ther ANY way to make the TeX filter work without turning off safe mode?
Thanks,
Eduardo
Hello,
Unfortunatly it doesn't seem so: moodle needs to make run an .exe on the server in order to generate the gifs required and "safe mode on" keeps it from running well.
I have met the same problem without any solution.

Hello
My provider work with the safe mod, so for me it's impossible to use the tex and algebra filter.
I would like to know if someone try to use an alternative mean.
I've found phpmathpublisher.
http://www.xm1math.net/phpmathpublisher/
or in french
http://www.xm1math.net/phpmathpublisher/index_fr.html
it's possible to publish mathematical documents on the web by using only a php script.
Is it possible to integrate this tool in moodle ?
Stephane
