I keep looking for a real state-of-the-art multimedia "live virtual classroom" solution, better than the average low-end products, and cheaper than the "live conference" products created for multinational companies and so.
It seems to be all the needed components for a great opensource product are right available.... the real need is to have someone that knows how to adapt-copy-paste every line of code in it's place (and it's not me).
but I found right now something that seems to have became abandonware or so, and can be a really great starting point. Please, any other one interested in reaching a solution for "live virtual classrooms" with voice-video-text, co-browsing and whiteboard, take a look at http://rendezvous.sourceforge.net/
and tell me if you see any possibility of starting from there to cooperatively build something huge.
best regards for all,
daniEl
Your idea is actually what I have been wanting as a feature in Moodle or as an add on or an integral part there off.
I shall be gratefull if you could advise and provide direction and a solution is there is one implemented by you or one that you have in mind.
Thanks in Advance.
