By "iframe," do you mean the project is on a server and not in Moodle? If yes, then the other server is quicker. that's a technical term
We've taken to putting all our resources like projects and videos on a different server, which not only keeps the size of a Moodle course smaller but also makes it easier to do fixes without the confusing paths Moodle uses for security.
