Looking for feedback on our Mentor block (aka "Progress Reports").
While this plug-in could still use some work, I think it addresses a number of issues with the way Moodle currently deals with mentors. In short, the current method needs a major "rethink.” Hopefully, the folks at Moodle HQ will take this on in the near future. In the meantime, please feel free to test out our new plugin and post feedback here.

This block as well as your other plugins look very useful. Two questions.
1. Would the Mentor block be available to anyone later on? and not only for FN schools?
2. Are you developing for version 2.5 only as most of our sites are 2.8?

All our plugins are available here, except for the Mentor Block which is still under development.
Unfortunately, these plugins are only compatible with Moodle 2.5. Update are made as funding becomes available. We are are hoping to update the Marking Manager in the next few months.

Thanks for your reply. I will probably write a blogpost about your plugins en future development as there may be schools in the Benelux that might benefit even if it's 2.5. Keep up the good work!

The Mentor-Mentee block is now compatible with Moodle 2.9. Along with a number of tweaks and improvements to the interface, this new version also includes the ability to send automated notification messages via SMS (cell phone).
