Moodle in English: Recommending a VLE(Moodle) to college SMT

I'm in the process of preparing a report for my SMT at an FE college in the UK on the adoption of a VLE. Moodle appears to be getting good reviews.

Has anyone already done the 'leg work' for a similar report and willing to share?
