Hello Moodlers,

Please would you test Essential 2.7.8b pre-release for Moodle 2.7 and place feedback here.  The release implements the following fixes:

- FIX: Issue #284: Testing 2.7.8a - Save changes bar offset to the right.
- FIX: Issue #285: Some colours need checking.
- FIX: Issue #286: CSS caching in Google Chrome.
- FIX: Issue #287: Embedded objects overlap the navigation elements.
- FIX: Issue #289: Conflict with Turnitin plugin's navbar.
- FIX: Issue #291: Carousel images distort.
- FIX: Issue #292: Google Fonts through https FIX.

As with the 2.7.8a pre-release (https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=270039) please do not install on PRODUCTION servers.

Hello,

Thank you for the continued improvements with the Essential theme.

Just noticed a small misalignment on the Quiz Settings page with the time fields in the "Extra restrictions on attempts" section as well as the "Timing" section.

 

They both appear aligned in Essential 2.7.7.

 

Moodle: 2.7.2+ (Build: 20140918)

Essential: 2.7.8b

May I ask if this misalignment occurs in other Moodle Themes or is it just Essential?

I've only tested with the Clean theme and it was fine there.

It was also okay with the previous version of Essential (2.7.7), and I believe Gareth has now adjusted it for the 2.7.8b  as well.

There is a small problem with the Quiz that persists over the various themes I've tested, but I haven't had time to post a request for help in the relevant forum as yet. It's regarding the list of questions which extend horizontally to overlap with blocks on the right when Editing a Quiz. I believe that you've done some very helpful work with the Quiz module so perhaps you may be able to assist with this.

If you may kindly direct me to the appropriate forum for posting this issue it will be greatly appreciated.
