multiselect menu as custom user profile field

We are happy to publish multi-select menu as a custom user profile field for Moodle.

How it could be useful:
This new custom profile field type could be used in many cases like:
1. You have to differentiate users into groups and one user could be part of multiple groups
2. You want to take inputs from user at the time of registration or you manually want to fill some information for users like education, certificates they have done.
3. There could be various other cases like this.


While, the plugin is under approval process, i would like to know if people are really interested in this?

Hi Saaid,

Well, I haven't yet tested it for Moodle2.4 but i don't think there should be any problems with Moodl2.4.

I would suggest you to try it once on any test instance of Moodle2.4 and if everything goes ok then Good.

Meanwhile, i would also try to test it with Moodle2.4 and other versions.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I uploaded the plugin to the required directory /user/profile/field/multiselect  , I know get the following warnings:

1. The Dependencies check failed for profilefield_multiselect. 

2. You must solve all the plugin requirements before proceeding to install this Moodle version!

I am not very skilled with plug-ins, so I could really use your guidance. I need to build a registration form that staff will fill out with student information. I uploaded the plug in into Moodle already and created questions, but I don't understand how it works. How can staff see this form and how can the administrator see all of them?
