Good afternoon,
Is there a way to restrict access to a certificate until a participant has completed the course as per the conditions of the course completion module?
I am using Moodle 2.6.1

You can make the activity completion conditions of the certificate be dependent on them having completed every other activity in the course.

Hi Mary, thank you so much for that. It sounds exactly like what I need to do. However in the completion conditions for the certificate, I couldnt seem to find a setting which matched your description. I've attached a screenshot of where I am... is this the correct place I should be looking to make these conditions?
Under restrict access, there is a section Activity completion condition.
If you add here every module required for course completion, then it will only be available then.

Thanks Peter, so I enabled that here
Site administration > advanced settings > Enable conditional access and it works a treat

No option for activity completion

Bingo! I had to enable Completion Tracking in the course settings, not just in site admin.

Saw this problem which I just had and have to reply, the answer is in this video: - the gist of which is: Administration>Course Administration>Edit Settings>Completion Tracking>Yes
