I have a moodle instance where I would like certain groups of users to use only the My Moodle home page, and the rest of the users to use the site default.

Any ideas about how I can do this?

 

I thought of creating a My Moodle Student role, but I am not sure which options to allow/prevent to force users with this role to use My Moodle.

Another option would be via user upload, but again I do not know of a parameter to include in the csv file to set a user to use My Moodle.

 

Any advise/guidance would be greatly appreciated

Hi Robert,

to my knowledge the My home page redirection is a switch, so if you select My Home as default home page the setting will influence all of your Moodle users. It is possible to allow users to configure their own default home page, however the page selected will be under user's control: http://docs.moodle.org/26/en/My_home#Default_home_page
