Is it possible, to have multiply courses - all using the same content? Without having to go through each one of them and add the content into each of them?
Regards,
Agnar
Yes.
1. Create a course, add all of your content, or resources into it. This course will be a Parent course.
2. Create another course, add make URL links point to the Parent course. This course will be a Child course.
3. Then Duplicate the child as many time as you need
4. Go to the Parent course which you made at Step1: Administration > Users > Enrolment method (If your Site Admin hasn't enable the "Course meta link' Ask for it) > Add method. Then , choose all Child courses
Now, all of the content (Resources) are shared across courses. You just need to update one location and all other courses are updated too.
Note:
1. Users will noticed that they are enrolled into a new course (Parent course), you can name the central course as 'Resources' or 'All'
2. If you don't want users to see the central course, don't make any 'Course meta link'. Just create 'a pop-up window' link from a 'child' course to the 'parent' course contents (Resources). Make sure the parent course is OPEN to guest. Normally, users won't notice where the resources come from.
You can find the documentation for Metacourses in Moodle Docs.
