Do you have an unusual url? Mine is www.alassist.us and as far as I can tell everything else is correct,  it just doesn't like my domain. I don't know if it's hard coded to only accept edu, org, com etc. but I wish someone would fix this.

Hi,

we have fixed some bugs related to the Site URL validation, it will be solved in the next version (planned for the second week of next month)

In any case, please, report any issues you found in the tracker: http://docs.moodle.org/27/en/Mobile_app#How_to_report_a_bug

Hi !

Did you notice if someone solve de "Provide a valid URL" problem ?

I have the same problem reported here by others:

The configurations of the Moodle site web service is OK, I have another moodle site that works fine on the mobile app but when I try to add a second site: http://oralfix.qpainformatica.com.br, it gives me the error message.

The URL is working fine on the computer but not on IOS and Android...

Is there any extra configuration I must to set on the Moodle web application ?

Is this a bug or not ?? Is there any forum issue with a fix for this ?

Thanks,

Elcio A.

Hi,

http://oralfix.qpainformatica.com.br/ is not a valid URL, if you type that URL in a browser you will se that you are redirected to

http://oralfix.qpainformatica.com.br/moodle/ ;

The last one is the URL you must enter in the app (I tested and it worked)

I'm having the same problem and wondering if someone can help. Our moodle site URL is http://winters/

Just wondering if I can use the Mobile App, too.

Thanks!

If your site is http://winters/ it means that is located inside a private LAN, VPN or something similar.

For accessing your site via the mobile app you must be connected to the same network your computer is connected to accessing that site

I think it's better if you contact your site administrator providing him this link:
