I have been using attendance module for quite some time now. It is a great plugin for attendance. Recently we noticed that some of the faculties were too lazy sometimes to fill session's attendance in time. So we restricted the time in which faculy will have to take attendance. We kept a duration of 8 days after which no faculty of concerned subject will be able to take/update attendance nor will he be able to change the settings as the icon for the same would get disabled but at same time admin can see all things so for that we added a new capbility.
I think this will be a good feature to add on later versions of module. Keeping a restriction on how many days a faculty has to fill the attendance the faculty will never miss the deadline to fill it and if he at all fails to fill attendance he will have to go to administrator to get attendance done.
