Has anyone been able to create new courses with a metacourse as the enrolment method?
The course upload feature is working well but I am having trouble getting it to create groups of courses which take their enrolment from a single course.
I have tried both meta and Course_meta_link in the enrolment_1 column to no avail. Moodle doesn't return any errors but fails to create the enrolment method.

It seems that not all enrolment methods can be used with the Upload courses feature. I imagine that setting course meta link as the enrolment method has not yet been implemented. The issue is reported in the tracker as MDL-43127. Please vote or comment if you'd like it to be fixed.
We are really hoping this is fixed soon. Setting up metacourse enrollments right now is very tedious-- there is no way to search for the course to set, and the courses are in database category order, which isn't very convenient. We have thousands of courses on our site at this point, and a dozen or so meta courses every term to have to configure.
We find using the 'Upload Meta Links Block' very useful. You just upload a csv file, with details of the Parent Meta course and its child courses, and the enrolments take place straight away.
