I must not have been clear when I posted my original question.
The "File submission" plugin has been enabled on our site, so students can upload attachments. When I create a new assignment, the default value for "Maximum number of uploaded files" is 1. I need to change that default value to 10.
I can provide screenshots if I am still not making myself clear.
