Hi,
I have a pretty vanilla and fairly new install of Moodle Moodle 2.5.3+ (Build: 20131115) and automated backups are running.
While checking something else I noticed the automated backups say they are being placed in
/var/www/vhosts/my-sites-domain.com/private/
and yet when I look in that folder I see no files.
Also I am getting twice weekly emails telling me, for example, as seen below my signature so all looks like it is OK.
A newbie to Moodle, is this something someone has seen before can suggest what might be happening (perhaps both wrong rights on the backup folder and the backup email lying and telling me all OK)?
