I've just started evaluation Moodle, and it seems like a pretty comprehensive piece of software, however there are a comple of things that I can't seem to figure out.
- I'm looking to set up the program for the purpose of handling courses where students will be enrolling at random times and getting most of the course materials emailed to them via an email robot, then logging in to Moodle for the purpose of feedback and testing. There may be several courses listed at the same time with several tests to be taken thoughout the period in which the student is taking the course, but not limited to anyone date of timeframe. Is there a way to set up the program so that, for example, Course 101 has listed with it the assignments and tests that pertain to it so that I can tell the student, "After finishing class #5, take test #1"?
- Can the program be configured to allow a student to go back and forth between questions to change or correct answers, but to not allow him to retake the test?
- A problem that I've had is that I cannot get changes to the admin account to stick if made through the program interface; I have to make the changes in the database itself.
