Installing Mahara ePortfolio

Installing Mahara ePortfolio

Hi.  I've successfully installed Moodle 2.5 and it's working fine.  I use a hosting package that includes Moodle as an application.  I want to add the ePortfolio application Mahara to the learning room as I have read good reports about it.  However, it appears to be disabled and gives me this message:

<< This plugin relies on MNet peers with SSO IDP published, SSO SP subscribed, portfolio services published and subscribed as well as the MNet authentication plugin. Any instances of this plugin have been hidden until these conditions are met. They will then manually need setting to visible again.>>

Sadly, I'm not a developer - does anyone know what this means please?  Is it a straightforward thing to solve?

Thanks you in anticipation,

Andrew
