I created a SCORM Module with Articulate Storyline and deployed it on our Moodle site. It is configured to exit the course when its timeline ends. In Storyline, SCORM Tracking is based on the number of slides viewed and Completion is set to 1 of 16. Report Status to LMS is Complete/Incomplete

In Moodle, I set up quiz with a Grade Condition that only makes it available after the SCORM is 50% completed. However, the SCORM is not triggering completion. I can’t think of any other reason for it not to trigger. Any ideas?

Hi John,

If you set up a quiz to be available according to a grade condition based on the score of a given SCORM activity, the quiz will become available only when students will reach that grade condition while attempting the SCORM. You may want to check the grade options set for your SCORM activity and when the package communicate to Moodle the score obtained by students.

However, since you are using Storyline there are good chances that your package is composed by a single SCO. If this is the case and if you set up your package to communicate SCO complete/incomplete status, another option you could try is using the completion setting of the SCORM, then configure conditional access to quiz based on the SCORM SCO status: http://docs.moodle.org/23/en/SCORM_settings#Activity_completion_settings

Thanks Andrea,

I got it to work by changing the SCORM settings in Moodle so Grading Method is "Learning Objects."
