Having some major issues importing Books into Moodle 2.0 from a backup in 1.9.
We have a significant number of Books we need to bring into Moodle 2.2 with a significant amount of images in them. So far we have been able to get the books in, but not with the images. We have tried:
- Backing up each book in 1.9 to restore into an existing course (merging) or new course in Moodle 2.2
- Exporting the book from 1.9 as an IMS package, but adding it to the Moodle 2.0 course makes it un-editable and we cannot see an option to import into a book (the docs says ‘Import Chapter’ for 2.3, but we don’t see that option)
- Putting the books into Equella (file repository) to somehow link to them (with no success)
This is now an urgent issue. Can anyone out there please advise what they have experienced?
