It's awesome! Just installed it on 2.3.2 and it works just dandy! You may have to guess if your "Orphaned activities" are section 1000 or if they are one more than the last course section (i.e. your course has 10 sections, the first "Orphaned activity" is 11).
I had two different courses that had the old side block and the activities found their way to the orphaned sections. In one, setting section 1000 moved it to the side and in another, setting it to 16 (there were 15 sections) moved it. Otherwise, no problem!
