A couple of questions concerning (1) migration of an installation from one system to another, and (2) running production (V1.4.4) and development (V1.5) in parallel:
- I've been evaluating Moodle and doing some preliminary development on an internal network. I'm now ready to migrate operation to a webhosting service. My question is how to migrate the Moodle data files and the mySQL tables from the internal system to the webhosting service?
- I'd like to run the latest production version (V1.4.4) and the current development version (V1.5) in parallel. Is there some definition or checklist of what needs to be manually copied from the production version to the development version to try and keep the two versions synchronized?
