TeX image quality

I am using the TeX tools a lot these days, and with TeXWorks editing on a LiveTeX installation, I get some really great looking PDFs. The problem is when I want to use TeX in Moodle, the resulting image quality is just not good at all. I have tried to do it better, but failed miserably. The images are too large, and really look like they have been blown up from something quite small, they are almost pixelated. It almost looks like something I nearly see when I am not wearing my glasses - fuzzy at best. Is there a way to improve the quality of the TeX image?

EDIT: I just checked the quality here and it is a lot better than my Moodle images.

Whereas the forum here produces a TeX image like this:

$$ 5\ -\ 4\ \not=\ 5 - 5$$ or

$$ 6\ \div\ 3\ \not=\ 3\ \div\ 6$$

Bit of a difference in quality is there not? Or could it be that I asm using ImageMagick rather than GhostScript for the conversion file? Or is there something in ImageMagick that can be improved for Moodle?
