I have a number of courses which have the certificate activity included. When these were setup I selected 'Save Certificates -Yes' now 18 months down the trach I have several thousand certificates which are consuming several Gb of server space. I would like to reclaim this space.
I have located where the files are saved 'moodledata/##/moddata/certificate' - is it safe to delete the entire directory and all of the files contained within or do I need to delete them individually or is that going to cause problems also.
