magazine theme - no tabs for activity reports!!!!!!!!

Hello, I am running trubbles for activity reports and i think it is because of magazine theme... i can navigate full activity report for a user by typing exact user report url and access it directly, e.g.: http://site/moodle/course/user.php?user=18&id=11&mode=complete  but when clicking on "activity" from "full user view" in participatins block, i do see only the outline report, and there is no tabs or function to show all reports or complete report for this user... please see picture attached...

in the naviagation, i can see that outline report is "bold" now but if i try to click on complete report, it gives me the complete report of my logged in user, and not the user that i am exploring... so please dear help in this reports issue i need to see full report of this user by clicking some tab or link, i don't want to always manualy point the this url to a user id to view its full report (complete report), i think tabs should be available here..

 any help is appreciated...

I don't see a bug here, you are looking under your own profile, not the user's profile (see the difference in my screenshot). It is a bit confusing but it is not theme related and I don't see a bug (see attached). It works fine for me in all themes tested.

hmmmm well, i think you are right dear john, i wil ltell you something.. i don't have this stuff what you have in your screenshot!! but i remember something, few days back, there was "site pages" which was produces nothing, so i decided to remove it from navigation block, and i followed some posts here in forums to remove it!! I think that my courses has to be under this section which is not removed?? so how i can get back a fresh navigation block without problem? can it reset it? i don't remember exactly what i have done and where exactly sad sad

i also switched to standard theme, i don't see tabs in the users view, so i think tabs are not avaialble as moodle 1.9 but they should appear here as you mentioned.. so, back to the main point now, the navigation problem sad sad please help sad i want to make a fresh/reset this block sad

thank in advanced

Yes, it is not very clear and it would be helpful if there were the tabs at the top of the page... So you may want to open a feature request and get people to vote for it.

I will do that endeed,

now after I went back to my bakcup and restored what i have messed up, files : mod/naviagation (forlder) replaced totally and file in lib/navigationlib.php replaced also, so things are back to normal with that irritating "site pages" and site news on the front page, which i wanted to remove them from the first date.. so i did remove nudes which made my the said issue...

now it is clear that you have to go to navigation > click on my courses > course > pariticpants > then select activity in user full profile view > then go back to participants side bar and click on the full report.. but i think as tabs will be much much easier so i am going to request a feature as you said,,, that is if I found really where people do request feathers first smile

thanks a lot dear, appreciated your support

Hi,

The place to make feature requests (as well as report bugs and suggest improvements) is the Moodle tracker. Please see the documentation Tracker for an intro of how to use it.
