I have uploaded the Dark Blue theme from the list of Moodle Themes. I don't understand see where I can change the heading that now is part of the Dark Blue template and says "SOSD Moodle" to what I want. Some of the themes seem to have a place where you can select "display" page heading. I don't see where you can change anything. I don't know CSS and some of the instructions here are beyond my knowledge base. I just want to be able to put my course name as the header and perhaps a logo. I also don't understand where I can get a URL for my logo. I have one that I created in photoshop. How can I get that onto the site? Thanks.

I've split your comment from its original place in another discussion thread because it was nothing to do with that particular discussion.
Most themes have the facility to display page headers, however DarkB doesn't.
I suggest you try one of the CORE themes. Formal White has an option where you can have headings or a logo.
