There have been some recent changes regarding course categories. This is probably where my hack is having problems.
I think my hack worked fine with Moodle 1.1 development (2003073000). If you have a different version, you may(will) have problems.
Actually, my hack is not necessary as Martin has implemented this My course feature in the newest CVS anyway. So, I would get rid of my lib.php and do a cvs update -dP. Be aware that this will get the latest development version which may have more bugs than a stable version.
