Multimedia filter not loading Flowplayer for Videos (MP4, MPEG)

hello,

I'm using: Moodle 2.1.2+

When I create a PAGE type resource for a Course and upload an MP4 or MPEG movie file, when I display the page, Moodle is trying to play the video with some sort of QuickTime player. I tested in Chrome 15 and Opera 11.

When I upload an MP3, it loads Flowplayer just fine and plays the file.

I'm totally new to Moodle, so there might be something I'm missing, but I followed these instructions:

What are your multimedia filter settings?  I would expect the MP4 to filter as HTML5 video.

thanks for your response.

I changed the settings to render the videos as HTML5. Is there a way to tell this plugin to use Flowplayer for MP4 without "hacking" the core code? (i didn't see it)
