Hello there - I need some advice.

In the preview of the moodle-Design "Fusion" it's shown a dropdown-menue.

Question: How do I configure it?

SETTINGS > SITE ADMINSITRATION > APPEARANCE > THEMES > THEME SETTINGS

On this page you will find (if you scroll down the page) a section where you you add the menu items. Follow the instructions given on that page.

OK - thanks. Great, I got it!

Now I need to configure some links like in the example:

Moodle community|http://moodle.org
-Moodle development|http://moodle.org/development
--Moodle Tracker|http://tracker.moodle.org

But when I open the custommenue "Moodle community" (by positioning the mouse over the tap) then the subtab "Moodle developement" opens with showing a small arrow on the left side, which should open a sub-sub tab "Moodle Tracker" when I position the mouse over this arrow.

Unfortunately this sub-sub tab does not open... 思考

Is this a bug in the official Fusion-Theme ? Which *.php- or *.css-file should I check?

And in addition. I dont like the grey-background in this custommenuebar. I would like to see only the text in grey within the darkgrey background of the layout. Where to change it?

Mary, I appreciate any feedback of you to solve this.

OK - first of all, I think this may be down to an IE/YUI issue, which I can see you are using as the telltale yui sprite is what is giving you that background. Also I've just checked in Firefox and the sub and sub-sub menus do work there.

So please can you tell us what versions of moodle and of IE you are using so that we can try to give you a solution (other than switch to Firefox/Chrome! - although that would be my suggestion微笑)

Richard - thx's for your answer.

I fully agree with you - Firefox/Chrome work fine - but the PC I often use is restricted to IE8 (@work). @home I use beside Firefox/chrome also IE9.

The problem is only with IE. I have installed the latest moodle 2.1.2+ and I trying out the style fusion on www.bkwin.ch

History: I have downloaded the official newest menus.css in the style-folder of the theme fusion (see attached menus[new].css). But I've noticed, that with IEx the sub-sub-task are not displayed!

I've found a patched menus.css on http://fisheye.moodle.org/browse/Moodle/theme/fusion/style/menus.css from 27.July 2011 (see attached menus[sam].css). With this patch the display-problems are solved.

But: I have noticed that in IEx there is "design-problem" with the bigger Menu-field and a grey backgroundcolor-band troughout the website (see www.bkwin.ch with IE8/9) What do I have to do to avoid this grey background? I appreciate your help very much!

Best regards
Bernhard
