We are migrating our Moodle 1.9.7 to another server. We do that by only restoring the backups from active courses (by downloading from the old and uploading to the new LMS) and without the users, we want to start with a new user-db-table and a cleaned up courses-db-table.
But when you choose to not migrate the userinfo while backing up, the Forum-messages and Survey-questions can not be moved to the new LMS.
Is there a way to move the Forum's (main)topic-massages (not the replies) and the survey-questions (not the user-results)? I'm not afraid to edit moodle.xml in the backup-file...
