I have read a number of posts about security of servers hosting Moodle. However, no mention has been made of another potential threat - since teachers can upload files, what if they inadvertantly upload a virus infected file (eg Word document) which can then spread to student computers?
What precautions do other admins take? Do you have an arrangemet with server hosts to scan files?
Any feedback appreciated.
