We have been using SHEBanG in Moodle2 for quite some time now (currently running 2.2.3+ in prod) Just recently our functional admins realized that courses loaded through SHEBanG weren't quite respecting some of our Moodle course default settings.
This is somewhat strange so bear with my description...
We use the Topics format and also use the default profile setting to always use the HTML text editor (as opposed to Moodle auto-format) however course shells created through SHEBanG are coming through with the text editor set to auto-format for 'Topic 0' or 'General' but HTML editor for all of the other Topics. However, when we create a course manually Topic 0 uses the HTML editor like it should based on default settings.
We were hoping for some insight as to how SHEBanG courses might be squeaking by that particular default setting. Any ideas?
