回帖数:20I installed the block but whn I launch the export_data.php file it gives me this error:
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/_mywebsite_/moodle/blocks/gismo/export_data.php on line 63
..in many many lines.
I've been looking for this kind of error in the forums but ther's nothing useful.
It may be related to 'accept relative path' setting of the server?

I'm realy happy someone found gismo on the sourceforge page!
We are developing it, i did some new changes but i didnt know someone was realy using it and i didnt update the sourceforge version...
Mh... i think i have to give to gismo some more time if you like it guys.
I added a loading progress bar while the applet is downloading (1,2mega) to let you know what happens, and i added the same progress bar while creating the charts (with lots of data its a bit slow - 150 students in 9 month of log).
If you send me your error page at christian.milani@lu.unisi.ch i'll find the error.

TimePanel now works (bottom of the ChartArea), you can choose what you want to see on the timeline

yes i put it yesterday evening, i added a new chart (students-resources, to see which students clicked on wich resources, next week i'll add the color on each point to understand how many times he clicked it)
The progressbar while loading (appletLoader + chartLoader).
I added 2 new lists (quizzes and assignments) and next week the charts on these things will be ready.

This thread is very old but where I work we are confronted with the problem of giving time statistics to a client for each student they're paying for. Yes, I do realise that they're chasing an illusion and that measuring the time spent clicking or not clicking in front of one's computer doesn't make much sense pedagogically. But that's what they want and "the client is always right." It has to be the time spent by each student: the client won't accept the "records of hits" on the course.
Is "GISMO, a graphical interactive student monitoring and tracking system that extracts tracking data from an online course maintained with Moodle, and generates graphical representations that can be explored by course instructors." still the best way to extract some figures without a lot of manual calculations?
