Would Moodle work with SumTotal 8.2? Can we link two environments together? Can we author in Moodle and then upload courses to SumTotal 8.2?

Hi Vladimir,

What would be the advantage in doing that? I'd never heard of SumTotal but it seems to be another Learning Management System - a commercial one. What can you do on Moodle you can't do on SumTotal?

Cheers,

Glenys

Chad,

Glenys,

I want to do the same thing. SumTotal can serve as a true LMS by assigning a curriculum, tracking learner progress, recording grades, etc., while Moodle would serve as a VLE by delivering content, providing a collaborative learning environment, and assessing.

There ought to be a way.

There (another) way smile.

SumTotal ELIS can serve as a true LMS by assigning a curriculum, tracking learner progress, recording grades, etc., while Moodle would serves as a VLE by delivering content, providing a collaborative learning environment, and assessing.

More about Moodle Partner Remote-Learner's ELIS for Moodle smile. It's open source, and even fully hosted, supported, and managed the cost is a good bit less than SumTotal.
