We're receiving errors when trying to run the MLE mobile phone client software (http://mle.sourceforge.net/mlemoodle/index.php?lang=en) on every phone available to us for testing (Sony Ericsson X1, Nokia E63, Nokia E71 and Nokia 6120c). The error message:
An error occurred: the content could not be converted because of invalid xml datajava.ioInputStreamReader @d51ca8; Msg: 0; TypeLclass java.lang.NullPointerException.
We've tested with the phone-specific, standard, minimum and generic mobile clients from the MLE-Moodle demo site and our own deployments with a local download server; all tests generated the same error message after installation on the mobile phones. We had to select the unsigned version of the application, as the signed version generates a certificate error when trying to install.
