are you comfortable with ftp?
Choose one of the standard themes that use a logo in the header, e.g. standardlogo or formal_white.
In the themes folder that controls this theme there is a file called logo.jpg. Your mission is replace that file with your own logo - file called logo.jpg. It will automatically appear and you will not have to edit header.html
As adam points out, you will have to FTP the new file there or ask someone to do it for you.
