As someone who's just done a few tutorials and basically knows how PHP and MySQL work but no more, I'm completely stuck as soon as I try to figure out what's going on inside MOODLE.  I've learned my ABC's, so to speak, but still can't read War and Peace.

An intermediate course studying MOODLE from the programmming side of the house would go a long way in increasing the number of people who can contribute to improving/expanding MOODLE.

I would be your first student.

This is a great idea.  Why don't we have these courses yet?

Still want a PHP/Moodle teacher.  I am a programmer who has set up his own site at www.vidyaweb.com during last one month or so.  This way have got some hands-on experience with PHP and moodle.

I'd be interested in being a student in such a course 微笑 I'd love to be able to design my own simple blocks and improve my programming at the same time. cool. Also, experiencing moodle from the other side would be a great experience.

My knowledge of programming in php is fairly limited and likewise with mysql commands so the course would have to be broken up much more than it currently is but I would imaging that would be the thinking anyway. I could see this being a really popular course 大笑

Martin has indicated he wanted moodle to have some courses but has never been able to find the time - http://courses.moodle.com/

Oh, I found some of my ICT quizzes on the site which I put in the moodle exchange. I have many more now on my site along with a load of free ICT courses (could not upload to the exchange due to file size) so if they are still being used you may want to download the rest of them 微笑

I don't normally play around here so if anything happens with this course then could somebody email me please?
