I've recently been helping Ricky Marcelin test his group choice block (CONTRIB-2226), and for a while we were slightly puzzled as to why the export function was working for him but not for me. I was eventually able to track it down to a regression error introduced late last month - Ricky was using an older version, whereas I was running latest CVSHEAD.
The regression error was introduced by an "ugly ugly ugly hack" to handle checking required editor fields. I've submitted it to the tracker as MDL-23830, along with an initial patch - but I'm not terribly familiar with QuickForms or Moodle Forms, so if anyone out there who knows about them has a bit of time to look over it and see if there's a better way to deal with it, please do so
