If you use my versions of asciimathml (AM1.js or AM.js) there is no Math Player detection or Adobe SVG Player detection - only a browser detection and FF/Mozilla with full native MathML support render MathML and all other browsers use image fallback.
Original AsciiMathML files do have Math Player detection but they do not use all of those features that AM1.js and AM.js have...
The good way to solve permanently problems of rendering MathML is to use Firefox forever - I have not tested the latest versions of Math Player http://www.dessci.com/en/products/mathplayer/versionhistory.htm and it may be capable to do most things like Firefox does with asciimathml files created by Peter Jipsen and David Lippman but a year ago I felt personally that result with Math Player looked worse than with image fallback or was otherwise buggy and I decided to drop all plugin detections.
