Teaching with Moodle

This is probably not the right forum to have this question, but some topics also address this but from the student perspective.

Since many resources are wrapped up in a course, is there a way a teacher can have it's own resources attached to his user.

With social media and everything, we want to have a teacher profile that can achieve or at least link to past courses he have done, and previous material he has created.

Also he might want to have content for students that are deciding to take his class. So non-specific course content would be good to provide under his personal profile page.

I am not an expert moodler sorry for maybe asking a stupid obvious question.
