i can leave the dir blank and courses backup in course default dir and also if i give a dir within the moodle root folder on the web server example E:\web\MoodleBACKUP backups still run but if i try go to a folder directly on E:\ drive say E:\MoodleBACKUP it doesnt work
i've tried to give the E:\MoodleBACKUP folder the same permissions as E:\web\MoodleBACKUP but still no joy
i'm running moodle 1.9.7 in IIS with NTFS folder permissions
