Hi,

Does this workaround still work with Moodle 2.0 ?

I wish to display a welcome message on the front page but only to guests.

I have created a hidden label and played with permissions as explained but it does not work.

For users who have permission to view this hidden label, the text appears in a light grey colour which makes it hardly readable. I managed to hide it from authenticated users but it does not appear for guests...

I'm wondering if in Moodle 2.0, guests just cannot see hidden sections...

Are you aware of any changes since version 1.9 ?
