I have uploaded a new 1.9 version theme today. It is one that I have been developing for the National Training Federation Wales. I have called it "Red Drop Down Menus". as soon as it is approved I will post the link up here...
In the mean time if you want to download it the link is here: http://www.jonwitts.co.uk/themes/moodle/red-ddmenus.zip

OK, here is the link: http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?d=26&rid=3765
It makes use of border-radius and drop shadow CSS 3 elements for Mozilla and webkit browsers quite a lot. I am afraid that poor old IE users are left with a some what less pleasing visual effect!

Jon, I like the look of this theme from the screenshot, but I was disappointed with your demonstration site as it did not seem to be the same theme, there was very little to see and certainly no drop-down menu!

Hi Mary,
I am going to speak to the NTfW tomorrow as they have successfully uploaded the theme (I can apply it in my test account) but they have not applied it site-wide yet.
Hopefully it will be live soon

Great!
In the mean time, you might like to take a look at this thread in a previous post in this forum, it might be of help to you when needing to display other themes you may design in the future. All you need to do is set up your Moodle site on your own website (if your host server has MySQL & PHP). You can then install your own themes in the themes folder, and use the session handler to set which theme you want displayed as a DEMO site.

Hi Mary,
Handy link. I may look at installing a test Moodle on to my website when I get time (I had not bothered before as the server for my website is not really quick enough), and I tend to develop all of my Moodle Themes and mods on my local machine at home; it is much quicker that way
(and easier to keep them up to date with cvs...)

OK Mary,
So I have set up a test moodle on my website and you can now see both of my themes using the session themes method you pointed me towards!
http://www.jonwitts.co.uk/moodle/index.php?theme=red-ddmenus
http://www.jonwitts.co.uk/moodle/index.php?theme=shs-blue-101
I have updated both of my themes in the database to reflect these new URLs so they will both need approving again.

These are very nice themes, crisp and clean and functional. Have you thought about converting these to Moodle 2.0 format? I think they would be well received.
Thank you.
I have thought about it; and will have to at some point, certainly for the SHS Blue one anyhow, as this is the theme I developed for my school Moodle install. I have been following the themes for Moodle 2 discussions and lurking in the background
My thoughts were to wait for all of the major changes and commits that Patrick is performing at the moment to settle down and then take a good look at it.
