I am having the same problem even after changing the filter to "no" in 1.5... All kind of files, including .txt and .html get this prefixes. When I try to "edit" the file from the files section, it shows a couple of strange signs added at the beginning of the file, and when I open it is still "filtered".
Any ideas?
